Printing & Exporting

It's easy to craft a good-looking, professional timeline with Temporis, but what do you do once it's finished? Temporis makes it just as easy to print your timeline or export it for use with a desktop publication application such as Apple's Pages or Keynote, or Microsoft Word. You can even export the event data as an XML document.

Exporting

Whether you want to insert your timeline as a graphic in a desktop publication application or extract your raw event data, Temporis' simple Export feature lets you do it with a few clicks.

Exporting the Timeline Graphic

To export the timeline as a graphic, click the Export button in the toolbar (or choose Export from the File menu) and select "Timeline Graphic" in the Export control, then select a format from the As control (such as PDF or TIFF), then click the Export button. Select a file name and folder to which to save your graphic when prompted. Your graphic will be created and ready for use.

Exporting the Event Data

To export the event data, click the Export button in the toolbar (or choose Export from the File menu) and select "Event Data" in the Export control, then select a format from the As control (such as XML or CSV). Select a file name and folder to which to save your data when prompted. Your data file will be created and ready for use.

Printing

Printing your timeline is just as easy as with any other application in Mac OS X. Simply press the Print button in the toolbar or choose Print from the File menu.
